Simple is Nature
It is really amazing how Nature deploys and equips the living with a 'gifted talent'.
Almost every living thing knows exactly what role they are playing from the moment they are born.
With their gifted 'talents', they had lived to contribution something useful.
Always busying with their "roles and tasks" and do not dwell in places where they are not familiar with.
That is why we don’t see elephant picking nectar. (Ha ha)
Nature is just so simple and lovable.
Humans, on the contrary seem to be the opposite.
Have you wonder what you were here for? What have you been doing?
Have you been using what the Nature had gifted you with?
Or had you been doing what it takes best to generate a luxury lifestyle?
A skilful man works in an office holding pens.
Performing daily work for a better living standard than pleasuring his interest.
This is Reality.
A skilful man uses his hands and work as a carpenter.
Producing nice and sturdy furniture.
This is Nature.
It is sad that how Reality had driven Nature to a corner, blinding the people that what they should do and not what they could do.
Many had argued that this is for the good for their next generation, or even, the basic they must do to keep a living.
They had turned until circumstances and not by choices.
However, Life could be lead in with many ways and forms.
When you live your head up and look at the clouds, that picture is much more stunning than the expensive piece of art you have bought.
When close your eyes and listen to the rain drops, the rhythm is more soothing than the world class music performers.
We were simple when we first born, just like the animals.
But, we changed. We learnt and grow to be complex.
Little did we know, the hardest thing is not to get complex, but to maintain simple.
Being the victim under Reality, could I turn back to Nature now?

I am pretty sure you do not know that nature has its way of balancing things up. An analogy to nature, you can do the same. Learn.
I'll say 'picking nectar' is not a gift, but an innate survival skill which Mother Nature skilfully crafted so that every living thing is dependent upon each other for life.
'Gifted talents' are reserved for some humans who're deserving enough to have that kind of aptitude. Human beings, just like any other animal or insects, are equipped with survival instincts, not 'gifted talents' per se. So I supposed what you're trying to say is centered around the theme, 'materialism'.
In a way, 'materialism' is a form of 'reality'. But so is Nature. Because Mother Nature decided a long time ago, (or rather, maybe God decided that) human beings should have interests, for example, in sports. So think about it - if someone is gifted in sports and is a professional, will you say he/she is going against Nature and succumbing to Reality?
Methinks hardly.
It is still very much Nature that he listens to himself and what he's capable of, and very much Reality that it pays to do what you truly want. That's Mother Nature's way of balancing things up.
So if you ask, if you're a victim under Reality, can you turn back to Nature? The answer is yes. It is all very simple, in fact. Listen to your heart, to what is it that you really want. Because when you truly listen to your heart, the rewards are even greater than the monetary ones you get.
That, is also a way to a simple life - a simple yet fulfilling one.
